He claimed that the public was now well aware of the PTI’s U-turns.
President Alvi urged the CEC to discuss last week about the date of elections in. Punjab and KP, but the ECP refused his request. As a result, President Alvi declared the date of elections in Punjab and KP as April 9 on his own.
Federal ministries had stated that the president’s decree was irrelevant and that his action was unconstitutional.
